Why marriage is so much complicated in India


We Indians are full of rituals, ethics and customs and due to this old-fashioned thoughts, we consider love marriage as a crime against the society.

There are three main reasons why marriage is so much complicated in India: 

1. Old-fashioned thoughts: 

We Indians only believe in arrange marriages due to our old cultures, and consider love as a crime against the society, which creates a lot of hindrance in marriages in India. But it should not be there, as everyone should get his/her rights to choose life partner and parents should not interfere in these private matters. 
Parents should respect their children's choice. 



2. Dowry system:

The government claims that dowry has been abolished in India, but it has not been so.  
Due to heavy dowry demand in marriages, the bride's family suffer a lot and the marriage gets too much complicated. 



3. Parental pressure: 


 Due to pressure from parents, the childrens are forced to marry an unwanted partner, and also girls are forced to get married at a very young age, which hampers their lives and leads to a lot of complications before marriage and also after marriage.

 So, parents should know, whether their childrens are ready to get married or not and also to whom their children wants to marry. Marriage should not be forced, as forced marriage always leads to problems and complications.
